Pollution Poem

Pollution

One of the worlds biggest problems today is pollution

Its a problem that is yet to have a permanent solution

It harms all life

But is not sharp as a knife

Its progression is slow

But beware, it does grow

It is hard to prevent

But we have to try to keep the world at its highest percent

From sky, to cement

To prevent the world from getting dirty

We don’t all have to be thirty

All you have to do

Is try to keep the sky and ocean blue

Many creatures are being forced to suffer

And don’t have enough time to become tougher

So it's up to us to take on that role

To make cleaning the Earth our number one goal

Pollution in the air

Demands much care

For when sulfur and nitrogen mix

Acid rain falls down like bricks

It kills many innocent fish

Causing much food to go off the heron’s dish

It pollutes many bodies of waters

Resulting in many marine life slaughters

It's not only dirty air

That demands people to be aware

Polluted seas

Also cause much recent growth to freeze

A sea turtle eats a plastic bag

Accidentally mistaking it for food

Now, its whole body begins to sag

And has most certainly met its doom

Although many creatures are dying

Many people are trying

To keep Earth clean,

By filling it with green

This is not the end of Earth's story,

There is still time, to return it, to its previous glory
